Book Fair on Saturday December 15 from 10:00 to 5:00 at Central Library

Friends & Foundation of the Rochester Public Library will be hosting a book fair on December 15 from 10:00 to 5:00 at Central Library on 115 South Avenue.

Rochester, NY: The Friends and Foundation of the Rochester Public Library will be hosting a book fair on December 15 at Central Library. The fair will include refreshments, a used book sale, author talks, and a children’s scavenger hunt. Book donations for the used book sale can be dropped off in the lobby of Central Library until December 13. Proceeds from the book sale will go to Friends and Foundation of the Rochester Public Library, which supports programs and services which could not otherwise be obtained through public library funding. The refreshments and scavenger hunt will be available all day, from 10:00 to 5:00.  The author talks will feature local writers including David Cay Johnston, Bob Betterton, Bonnie Frankenberger, Marsha Hayles, and Heather Menzies Jones. Talks will begin at 11:00 and will last until 4:00.  The fair is free and open to the public. 

This press release was part of a project I did with Nikki Ehmann, in which we planned an event for a nonprofit.  Learning how to write a press release is a useful skill to have, and one that i appreciate having learned.  The PSA that was also a part of this project is posted below.
